CLIENT PROFILE

• small to mid-size biopharmaceutical companies
• with strong individual investor or venture capital support

• without internal BD staff
• that intend to attract the partnering interests of large pharmaceutical or biotech companies and

• require senior-level business development expertise to achieve their partnering goals.

I am typically engaged by senior management or directors or venture capital investors in the company to supply or augment skills that are internally underrepresented or simply overextended.  I can provide the skills needed to develop databases of potential partners prioritized by client criteria, to prepare business cases establishing the value of the deal and to execute negotiations on advantageous terms.  After helping to establish interest among potential counterparties, my primary focus is on preparing for and running transactions from the advent of discussions where a serious interest exists on both sides to reach term sheet agreement and then through to deal execution.
